How I lied to myself about having a productive journey

Not all holes are rabbit holes

It was a clear and warm day…

I was expecting to have a productive day. I had with me my to-do list, my coffee, my computer, the Wi-Fi was working well, my last-generation-app-to-manage-anything was open on my screen…

But it didn’t happen. The day ended and my to-do list was identical to yesterday.

Wait. I had an excuse. I wasn’t productive in the… you know, ‘productive’ sense of the term, but a lot of creative things happened.

Furthermore, I got into a rabbit hole. Like Alicia in Wonderland, I had an adventure browsing the internet from place to place, between social networks, Wikipedia, very interesting YouTube videos, some podcasts, blog posts, even Twitter.

No topic in particular, but how new and interesting things are out there!

I know, nothing was useful for any of my current projects at the moment or things to do on my list, but, you never know… some of those things can be important in the future, right?

That is something that I said to myself, “I need to be informed and updated with the most recent trends about my things”.
